Facial Exercise

remove sagging neckYou would like to look lovelier, cuter and generally feeling good about your looks. You're tired of those shadows and wrinkles, that baggy eyes, sagging neck and that double chin.

No, you're not ashamed of how you look like. You're comfortable in your own skin but who doesn't want to look and feel better about themselves? Since impression counts and your face - which people notice first - is the biggest asset you have, you'd definitely like to look more attractive and elegant.

What choice do you have?

You can apply cosmetics or go for a plastic surgery. Or you can try facial exercise.

Getting that desired look can be simple and costs just a little. You only need to spare some time during the day to do a specific exercise in your daily routine and that too, for only 15 to 20 minutes, i.e. ‘Facial Exercise’. Yep, facial exercise can remove those facial wrinkles, makes the skin of your face smoother, more beautiful and elegant. It makes you look younger and radiant.

What does the facial exercise do??

Facial exercise protects facial muscles from slacking. Even if you are very good looking and young, as time passes, your facial muscles will become loose, slacking and sagging. So if you are still young and fine looking, doing facial exercise will prevent the slackness of face muscles and maintain its firmness as you grow older.  If you are already an aged person, then this exercise will firm up your face muscles.

Facial exercise helps make your face skin wrinkle free and shiny. It tones up your facial skin and gives you a youthful look. As an additional benefit, you will feel calm and relaxed after doing it.

How to do facial exercise?

You will have to perform different exercises for different parts of your face like ear, nose, head etc.

If you are a beginner, do face exercise daily for at least 20 minutes for different parts of your face. You can reduce it to three or four times a week after doing it a month. Some minor spots may appear on your face skin but this is normal and will disappear automatically in time.

Eyes exercise

Purpose:  To tone the eye muscles. To do this, apply pressure to your forehead from the two sides of your temple with your fingers. Do it very gently for a couple of minutes.

Close your eyes and sit upright. While your eyelids closed, roll your eyes down and then up as far as you can. Repeat this activity 10 times.

Close your eyes and sit upright. Now lift your eyebrows up and stretch the eyelids down and up as far as possible. Repeat this activity 5 times.

With eyes opened, sit upright and be relaxed. Close your top eyelids, and lift your eyebrows up until your eyelids are half closed. Now, open your eyelids, until you start seeing your iris. Repeat this activity 5 times.

Sit upright with your eyes open and look straight, then look down, then look straight again. Keep your head static. Repeat the activity 10 times.

Forehead Exercise

Frown as much as you can and try bringing your eyebrows over your eyes. In the process pull the eyebrows towards one another. Now lift your eyebrows as far as you can while your eyes are open.

Lie on bed and look at the ceiling. Lift your eyebrows upward with your eyes open. Relax and repeat the activity about 10 times.

Sit upright, seeing straight, start bringing your eyebrows down, wrinkle nose as much as possible, flaring your nostrils. Count up to 10. Relax and repeat the activity 5 times.

If you new to this, the exercises may seem tedious but if you feel tempted to abandon it, I suggest you keep doing them until you get used to it. After a while, it will feel natural and you'll find that it's quite enjoyable ESPECIALLY when you start noticing some pleasant changes on your face.

The facial exercises shown above are just a sample of what you can do to improve your looks. There are tons of other effective things you can do to enhance your facial appearance and have fun doing it at the same time.
